Rebecca Eckland is an athlete, blogger, editor and freelance writer from Reno, Nevada. Her work explores the intersection of self and the natural world via the narrative of sport. She is also a writer deeply interested in topics surrounding the body, gender, and identity.  She is making a name for herself in ultra-endurance cycling events as well as Ironman triathlons. Her work is inspired by a lifetime of exploring what it means to be an athlete—to exist within the body and mind, to push each to its limits, to fail and to triumph.

She is represented by Literary Agent Dana Newman of Dana Newman Literary and Phyllis Parsons of The Parsons Company.

Mission:  That words and miles inspire others to enter the world of ultra-endurance events and creative expression. There should be more of us out there, swimming, cycling, running and writing.
